Eight * huit * kahdeksan * 8

I'm not a number but Anna-Liisa tagged me to list eight things about me you'd never dream of knowing. Funnily enough there's a meme about seven things in the Finnish blogistan, too...

1) I hate to sleep in the dark with blinds or curtains closed. Must be my Finnish side but I need to know whether there's stars, clouds, daylight. We are able to sleep even when the midsummer night's sun shines !

2) I read about a dozen magazines at the same time, torn between the temptation to read the Finnish girls' magazine Trendi I got from a friend, a bit older but also Finnish Deko magazine, a French IT publication... and they all pile up around the house.

3) I keep my shoes in their boxes (did I mention I like piles ?!) and I'm planning to take polaroids of them to fixe on the boxes.

4) Less than four weeks before the holidays and not even started a diet. Seriously considering PowerPlate.

5) We were probably the last people on earth to buy a VCR but took a revolutionary leap into the digital era two years ago : GPS, smartphone, VOD... name it, we got it !

6) Had a shiatsu massage yesterday. How come do they have such warm fingers ? Is it a trick or just a gift they have ? In any case, it feels divine.

7) We live in a small alley where even the town's recycling garbage collectors cannot enter so I end up taking our empty bottles to the nearest recycling container myself. I feel like a whino when the bottles make a terrible noise on my bike...

8) I met one of my dearest friends Edith (name changed to protect her privacy...) on a Finnish pregnant women's chat site ; we were both expecting our first in Paris ! Our second babies are also the same age, and one of her's is my godchild.
